Tuvia6The third LPG extension terminal of Kazakhstan comes from Italy. The structure spreads over a total surface of over 8 hectares and for the time being it consists of 7 storage tanks of 250 cubic meters each of a gross capacity of 1,750 cubic meters of LPG was built in the suburbs of Uralsk, in the region of Zelenovskiy, by Tuvia Group, through a local subsidiary Tuvia Kazakhstan. The terminal under normal operation will be able to handle, in that first phase, the overall volume of 200,000 ton LPG a year.

“This investment is a fundamental contribution to the development of a rural area, offering employment to fifty persons and taking advantage of the strategic capacities and expertise of the Italian entrepreneurial sector in the world,” declared Marco Oriolo, President of Tuvia Group, during the opening of the terminal. There have already been planned further development phases by means of which the structure’s tank number will increase to 28. Some of them will be dedicated to pure propane gas, other to LPG, and their overall storage capacity will be more than 7,000 cubic meters. Future plans of the group include also the possibility – besides the terminal enlargement – of building a modern plant dedicated also to washing the train cars intended for oil transportation.

An investment of about 2 million dollars is planned for 2016-2017. “Kazakshstan – continues Oriolo – is an extraordinary country that offers incredible business opportunities to our companies and that greatly recognizes our technical know-how and professionalism. I believe that this country offers one of the most fertile soils for our entrepreneurial sector.

”The terminal was completed in less than three years also thanks to the support of some Italian credit institutes, among others, Intesa Sanpaolo, which granted middle- and long-term financing of 3.5 million euros “intended for the industrial project of Tuvia Group.”
